Identical twin brothers Nick and Zack Lewan are getting married this weekend in Grass Lake to identical twin sisters Kassie and Krissie Bevier. All four are Grand Valley alumni and their unique Laker Effect is getting attention across the globe.

Their love story started at Grand Valley. Kassie and Nick told the Jackson Citizen Patriot they met in a psychology class four years ago and when they went on their first date to church they invited their twins. Krissie and Zack started dating shortly after.

When they were sophomores, Kassie and Krissie were featured in a video highlighting a 2014 Twin Day event on the Allendale Campus hosted by Alumni Relations and University Communications. See the video here.

Both Kassie and Krissie earned bachelor's degrees in exercise science in 2016. Nick earned a bachelor's degree in psychology in 2017 and Zack earned a bachelor's degree in natural resources management in 2017.

Their upcoming marriage has been picked up by various news outlets across the state, country and world, including Time magazine, MSN, and People magazine.
