Communication is the heart of connection, learning, and belonging. For autistic students and others who cannot rely on speech alone, having access to meaningful, personalized communication supports is essential, not optional.
Our goal is to connect school staff and families to a range of evidence-based tools, strategies, and organizations that empower all students to express themselves, be heard, and actively participate in their learning and school community. Whether a student uses spoken words, gestures, signs, communication devices, or a combination of these, our goal is to ensure every student is heard, respected, and supported.
Here, you’ll find resources to guide implementation and everyday classroom practices that prioritize communication access, promote inclusion, and support each learner’s unique strengths and needs.
