ADMITTED GRADUATE STUDENT SESSIONS
Join our Graduate Admissions team for a live-hosted virtual Admitted Graduate Student Next Steps Session! This Zoom session will focus on what you need to know as a newly admitted graduate student. You will learn about course registration, funding opportunities and we will walk through the admitted student checklist. This session is intended for graduate students who have been admitted to Grand Valley State University. These sessions are supplementing not replacing any program specific orientations you may be invited to.
Admitted Student Checklist
Students are encouraged to have their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) filed by March 1st for the following academic year.
All new graduate students are invited to attend orientation. There are program-specific, virtual, and general on-campus options available.

"As a grad student, you feel lucky to get paid to do the research you love. Here at Grand Valley's Annis Water Resources Institute (AWRI) we have a really great opportunity to not only go to school and get all of our classes done but also work 40 hours a week during the summer and 20 hours a week during the school year."
