The program emphasizes hands-on practice and the study of photography as a powerful medium within culture and society. Emphasizing technique and analysis, it prepares students to critically interpret and creatively produce in various professional and artistic environments.
You will explore photography techniques and history while gaining an understanding of the history, theories, and criticisms of the medium. Elective options range from studio photography, black and white photography, alternative printing, documentary photography, and more.
