Grand Valley's Homebrewing Beer badge program provides students with the skills to brew, bottle, and assess beer while learning safe production and serving practices. This face-to-face program is open to both degree and non-degree-seeking students, offering flexibility and accessibility.
The coursework covers the history of brewing, characteristics of major Western beer styles, health benefits of beer, and identifying off-flavors and tastes. These topics provide comprehensive knowledge for creating and evaluating homebrewed beer.
