Visiting Professor Kristin Graef

Kristin E. Graef has taught first-year writing for over thirty years, as well twelve years teaching Western Humanities at Aquinas College. Her academic studies focused on T.S. Eliot and Matthew Arnold. Kristin has taken part in ACT preparatory workshops in Grand Rapids, and privately tutored students for SAT and ACT preparation. She has been Summer Program Director for Lake Michigan Academy in Grand Rapids, and she was a reader, proofreader, and featured writer in ArtPrize's Anthology Imagine This! Kristin’s poetry has won competitions, been published in literary magazines, and recited publicly in both the US and the UK.

In her private life, Kristin enjoys her family, complex board games, and lifetime European travel. Recently she has made immersive visits to London, Liverpool, and New York City. Kristin is a professional editor.
