Visiting Professor Alyssa Evans

Alyssa Evans loves teaching First-Year Writing and Creative Writing courses, where she encourages students to discover their authentic voice and build confidence in their abilities. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Creative Writing, specializing in poetry and creative nonfiction. Her writing explores the complex intersections of women’s experiences with gender, sexuality, and religion. Outside of her literary pursuits, she enjoys traveling, crafting, and spending time with her husband and cats.
