Bi-Annual Releases
Workday has two feature releases each year in March and September.
The most recent release was on September 20, 2025, with minimal changes. One notable update involved adjustments to the absence calendar.

Weekly & Extended Maintenance
Weekly maintenance occurs Saturdays, 2 a.m. - 6 a.m.
Workday schedules weekly maintenance, which ensures optimal performance for all users. The weekly service update begins at 2 a.m. and ends at 6 a.m. on Saturday.
In addition to weekly maintenance, there will also be extended monthly and quarterly maintenance windows scheduled as follows below.
