There is a jellyfish trapped inside my head He swims laps like an Olympian around my brain, Shocking me whenever my thoughts attempt to take over I am scared of the dark, but luckily for me His florescent glow, illuminates my insides Shining light on things that I have kept dark for too long, He keeps me sane; he keeps me grounded; he keeps me focused. There is a jellyfish trapped inside my head And how unfair to him Is it selfish of me to say that I will never let him go? For without him, I am not me.
