Excellence in a Discipline - Operations Management

What is your favorite Seidman memory?
My favorite Seidman memory was my connections with my professors and classmates. Seidman was a unique experience where classrooms were smaller, and I was able to know each of my professors personally. Not only will I remember the times when professors were there to help me succeed in the classroom, but I will remember the one-on-one personal connections I was able to make throughout the building.

Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many desirable traits of a leader such as an innovator, integrity, curiosity, and future-minded. How did your experience at Seidman help you develop one or more of these traits?
The Seidman School as a whole encouraged students to question their beliefs and interact with classmates. From open discussions in class to involved group work, Seidman gave me valuable leadership and communication skills that I will take with me going forward.

What would you like people in the community to know about Seidman graduates like you?
I would like them to know that Seidman graduates are equipped with all the attributes needed to succeed and better the community. Seidman graduates leave feeling encouraged and confident in their abilities to become leaders in the community.

What is your career aspiration?
I want to involve myself in the manufacturing industry and play a key part in business operations. My goal is to bring positive energy to the workforce and motivate people around me while being at the forefront of continuous improvement and innovative business practices.

How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?
Being a part of Seidman College showed me the importance of community and having supportive people around you. With my experience here, I would like to take opportunities to improve the community around me so that other people can experience the joy of having that kind of support system.
