Excellence in a Discipline - Finance
What is your favorite Seidman memory?
My favorite Seidman memory is my time in the finance club Seidman
IPO. The club had such an important impact on my college experience
and many of the people in the club with me are some of my closest friends.
Our building namesake – Bill Seidman – exhibited many
desirable traits of a leader such as an innovator, integrity,
curiosity, and future-minded. How did your experience at Seidman
help you develop one or more of these traits?
Seidman always gave me avenues to be curious. Whether it was
attending an event the school put on, joining a club, conducting
research, participating in case competitions, or just attending
classes, there are so many ways to explore and get involved.
What would you like people in the community to know about
Seidman graduates like you?
Seidman produces students that can rival the graduates of any
other undergraduate university. The college focuses on more than just
coursework and develops students that are well-prepared to excel in
the professional world.
What is your career aspiration?
My career aspiration is to leverage my critical thinking and
analytical skills to solve complex business challenges and develop
strategic solutions. I am particularly interested in consulting and
investment roles where I can apply my analysis to drive decision
making and create value.
How did your time at Seidman College prepare you to contribute
to your community as a Laker for a Lifetime?
My time at Seidman has been filled with people helping me through
my journey. Faculty, staff, club members, local business professionals
were always willing to help out the “student,” and I want to be
intentional about doing the same as I move forward in my career. I
hope I can give back and help develop the next generation the same way
the prior generation did for me.
