Traveling by passenger van to Wichita, Kansas, with a motley group of GVSU students to frame a house as part of the Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program has to be among my favorite college memories. I met some amazing people on that trip.

Some of my favorite memories come from my time as a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, particularly during my term as President. One standout event I always reminisce about is our collaboration with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

My favorite Grand Valley memory was when I proposed to my wife, Valerie, with the Laker Marching Band playing behind us. We met during our freshman year in the LMB and have now been together for almost 9 years.
