The Economics Student Organization will be hosting Joe Nayquonabe, CEO of Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort, next Tuesday at 6:00 PM in the Seidman Forum.
Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort is one of Michigan’s largest tribal hospitality and gaming enterprises, featuring more than 210,000 square feet of gaming space, employing nearly 900 individuals, and generating approximately $330 million in annual gaming revenue. As a tribally owned enterprise, its operations play a significant role in regional economic development and community investment.
Prior to his current role, Joe Nayquonabe served as CEO of Mille Lacs Corporate Ventures, where he oversaw a $600 million diversified business portfolio spanning gaming, hospitality, entertainment, and emerging industries. During the event, he will share insights on leadership, business strategy, and economic development, followed by an opportunity for student Q&A.
