Sajad Ebrahimi is an Assistant Professor of Management specializing in Supply Chain Management and Data Analytics at the Seidman College of Business, Grand Valley State University. His primary research focuses on supply chain network design, addressing the current challenges faced by the commercialization of renewable fuels. His work has been published in peer-reviewed academic and managerial outlets. His teaching combines analytics-driven decision-making with experiential learning to prepare students for data-intensive business environments.
Before joining Grand Valley State University, Dr. Ebrahimi served as an Assistant Professor of Management in Supply Chain Management and Analytics at Wagner College in NYC, where he established a new Business Analytics major. He has also worked as a research fellow specializing in traffic safety analysis at the Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute and as a lecturer at North Dakota State University, where his commitment to impactful teaching earned him the Excellence in Teaching Award. Dr. Ebrahimi has been an active member of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) since 2019, regularly presenting his research at annual conferences and once serving as Chair of the Logistics and Transportation Management track.
