Dr. Kulpa earned his Ph.D. in Supply Chain Management from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. Prior to pursuing his Ph.D. degree, Dr. Kulpa worked for a beverage distributor as a supply chain professional for over five years. His current research areas include supply chain disruption response, global transportation management, tariffs, and global sourcing. Dr. Kulpa uses econometric statistical methods to analyze big archival datasets to gain managerial insights into disruption response techniques and supply chain adjustments in sourcing and transportation. His research has been published in the Journal of Purchasing and Supply Management and Transportation Journal. He is the winner of the 2024 Doctoral Dissertation Award from the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
