Jeffrey Byrnes joined the faculty of Grand Valley State University in 2018. He completed his Ph.D. work at the University of Essex, UK, with a dissertation on phenomenology and existentialism. These days he works on the philosophy of health, with broader interests in philosophy of art, philosophy and literature, and the Enlightenment.
