The most helpful aspects of my undergraduate education in mathematics were: developing logic skills used in SAS programming and general problem solving; learning core mathematics used in statistical methodology
The advice I’d offer to current undergraduate students in mathematics: The more you challenge yourself, the more rewarding your achievements.
In a typical day in my work, I: Statistics and programming support for clinical trials; lead talented group of programmers who develop SAS programs to create both datasets compliant with industry standards and perform statistical analysis.
