Performance Evaluation Toolkit
While Workday is launching for all employees effective January 1, all employees will complete their current performance evaluation in PageUp, due April 19, 2024. The new performance evaluation system in Workday will not launch until May 2024. More information and performance-specific training will be forthcoming in Winter 2024.
The Performance Evaluation System aims to be developmental and communicative in structure, as well as to encourage ongoing feedback throughout the review year. This system sends emails prompting actions throughout the year. Employees and supervisors have the ability to log ongoing feedback throughout the year for reference and linking to various steps during the review process.

2023-2024 Performance Evaluation Timeline
- May 9, 2023: Review cycle is launched
- May-June: Employee identifies goals and job responsibilities
- July: Supervisor reviews/approves goals
- July-October: Evaluation period for all; use this time to log journal entries and work on goals/projects, job knowledge/responsibilities, and professional development plans (log ongoing performance feedback)
- October-November: Mid-year review (APs only); evaluation period continued for all
- November-January: Evaluation period continued for all; use this time to log journal entries and work on goals/projects, job knowledge/responsibilities, and professional development plans (log ongoing performance feedback)
- February-March: Employee completes self evaluation
- March-April: Supervisor completes evaluation
- April: Supervisor/employee review discussion
- April: Employee acknowledges evaluation
- April: Supervisor reviews final acknowledgement
- April: Evaluation complete (No later than 4/19/24)

Downloading & Completing a File Digitally *PLEASE READ*

- If opening PDF in Chrome: Fill out form first, and when you are ready to export, hit the print icon in the top right, and choose "Save as PDF" for the printer.
- If opening PDF in Safari: Fill out form first, and when you are ready to export, hit "file," in the top navigation bar and then "Export as PDF."
