Graduate Degrees
Grand Valley State University offers a wide range of graduate education opportunities, including Master's and Doctoral degrees designed to give students a competitive edge.
Combined Degrees
Within GVSU's graduate programs are numerous Combined Bachelor/Master degree programs that allow current GVSU undergraduate students to complete both degrees sooner by counting up to 12 graduate credits towards the undergraduate degree. This reduces the time and cost to complete both degrees separately. The combined degree programs can save you money and allow you to enter the workforce sooner. Please contact the graduate program director listed below for additional information and the Office of Financial Aid with any questions about how a combined degree program will affect the cost of your education and any financial aid package you may be receiving.
Graduate Certificates
Grand Valley State University offers a diverse range of graduate certificate programs designed for specialized skill-building in fields like education, health, and business. These certificates typically require 9 to 18 credits and can be completed as standalone credentials or embedded within a master's degree program
Graduate Badges
GVSU also offers a number of Graduate Badges to help students progress in their fields.
Student Initiated Combined Degree
The Student Initiated Combined Degree program empowers students to design a personalized academic path by integrating undergraduate and graduate studies across disciplines. With guidance from faculty advisors, students can align their education with their unique goals and interests. This flexible program not only fosters a customized, student-driven learning experience but also shortens the time needed to earn both degree.
