Sofi obtained her Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Michigan State University in 2025. During her time at Michigan State, Sofi was a Resident Assistant for two years, developed a passion for Student Affairs, and decided to pursue that passion and education here at Grand Valley. They currently serve as the Graduate Assistant for Student Organizations in the Office of Student Life. This assistantship allowed them to expand their professional knowledge in Student Affairs. She loves to bring positivity and a welcoming environment wherever she goes!
In their free time, Sofi loves to spend time with their family and dogs! You'll also find Sofi enjoying a number of different crafts, like sewing and crocheting. You may sometimes catch them playing Minecraft or Stardew Valley, or listening to an audiobook, too!
