National Pan-Hellenic Council

The National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) at Grand Valley State University governs the historically Black fraternities and sororities known as the “Divine Nine.” These organizations were founded on the principles of scholarship, leadership, service, and the promotion of cultural unity and social justice. NPHC at GVSU continues this legacy by fostering academic excellence, civic engagement, and lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood. With deep roots in activism and community service, NPHC chapters provide members with a meaningful collegiate experience centered on cultural pride, campus involvement, and leadership development. Whether you're looking to build a legacy, give back to your community, or connect with others through shared values, NPHC is a powerful place to start.

For questions about GVSU's NPHC, please contact Associate Director of Student Life, Jeremy Paul, at [email protected] for more information.
