Your Gifts = More Highly Qualified Graduates

One of the primary impacts of this campaign is an increase in qualified graduates in key areas where employers need them most.

With the expansion of Grand Valley’s Health Campus, and the creation of the Innovation Design Center for Engineering, Grand Valley is preparing more than 5,000 students for the front lines in health, and meeting the increasing demand for Laker engineers, up 40% in recent years. These facilities also included increased collaboration space and enhanced technology which is shared with our community through critical partnerships in both health and engineering.

Beyond that, this campaign raised the bar for academic excellence in nearly every area, including double the number of endowed and named faculty positions. It also provided program support in new or renovated spaces in 5 facilities, in areas ranging from the sciences to performing arts and athletics.

• 5,000+ health professions and nursing students

• 20+ health sciences programs

• 2x the simulation center capacity

• 40% more engineering students

• Expanded industry-based project space

• 46% increase in music students

• 250+ music, theatre, and dance performances/year
