Dr. Gregory Schymik
Bio
Gregory Schymik is an assistant professor in the School of Computing at Grand Valley State University. Greg holds a BSE in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan, an MSCIS from the University of Detroit-Mercy, and Ph.D. in Business Administration from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Before starting his doctoral studies, Greg spent 15 years in embedded systems development in the automotive industry. He is co-inventor on two patents. His research interests include enterprise search, software process improvement, software quality assurance, project management, and information security and assurance. He has published in several conference proceedings and in journals including: Decision Sciences, Decision Analysis, and the International Journal of Business Intelligence Research.
