Biography

Dr. John Reynolds is an experienced educator whose work focuses on the intersection of computing education and curriculum development. His research interests include IS/IT computing curricula and the integration of computing technologies into K-12 education, with a particular emphasis on preparing students for the evolving demands of the digital world.

Dr. Reynolds is an ISCAP-EDSIG Fellow (2015) and actively contributes to professional communities through leadership roles. He serves as President of the MWC3 Foundation and as Conference Coordinator for the Midwest Collegiate Computing Conference (MWC3), where he fosters collaboration and innovation among computing educators. In the classroom, he enjoys teaching introductory coding, hardware and software fundamentals, and problem solving with spreadsheets. He's always striving to make computing accessible and practical for students at all levels.

Outside of academia, Dr. Reynolds has a passion for classic cars, recreational vehicles, and boating on inland lakes.
