CIS Outstanding Students for 2020

Published April 10, 2020

Six smiling individuals are shown in a two‑row grid of head‑and‑shoulders portraits, each photographed in various settings from leafy outdoors and campus buildings to plain indoor backgrounds conveying a friendly and diverse student group.

Each year the School of Computing and Information Systems selects a student from each of its undergraduate and masters programs to recognize at the University Awards Convocation. These students represent the best of our majors, and the hard work they put in to their respective programs. Award recipients are nominated by faculty and selected via a voting process – a very challenging process for the faculty as we are fortunate to have a significant number of very exceptional students enrolled in our programs.

The School of Computing and Information Systems wants to recognize these students’ efforts online, since we are unable to have our annual dinner in their honor this year. We thank these students for their exceptional work ethic, and contributions to our programs. The future is bright for you all, and we are excited to see where it takes you!
