The Shipyard launches a new model for computing education in which every student works on real-world projects every year, beginning in their first semester and continuing through their capstone experience. This initiative brings together students, faculty, industry partners, research labs, and community organizations to collaborate on meaningful challenges while creating pathways for research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
The event will introduce the Shipyard vision and highlight how this model connects project-based learning, research partnerships, workforce development, and startup pathways. It will also provide an opportunity to engage with faculty, partners, and students who are helping shape this new collaborative ecosystem.
Note: This event was previously scheduled for May 8.
