Shaina Lane, professional speaker, executive leadership coach, and founder of BEST Leader Training, announces the release of her new book, Beneath the Brilliance: Sparkle Like a Diamond Without Cracking Under Pressure. A Breakthrough Paradigm for Women on the Rise.
Written for ambitious women who have mastered the art of looking like they have it all together while quietly cracking under the stress. Beneath the Brilliance challenges the cultural expectation that women should simply become more resilient, work harder, endure more, and bounce back faster. The book officially releases November 3, 2026, and will be available in Kindle eBook and paperback formats on Amazon and through other major booksellers.
Beneath the Brilliance is part personal story, part practical guide, and part permission slip for women who are tired of being told that the answer to pressure is simply to become better at handling it. Through ten stories of women navigating career, leadership, identity, expectations, change, and the invisible pressure to keep performing, Lane explores what happens when success on the outside doesn't match what is happening underneath. Using the metaphor of a diamond, Lane introduces the "Diamond Paradigm", a framework to help readers recognize what is no longer working, reframe the stories and identities keeping them stuck, act with intention, and commit to the hard that will change them, not the hard that will continue to break them down. Rather than glorifying grit, hustle, or performative resilience, Beneath the Brilliance asks a different question: What if the strongest women aren't the ones who endure the most, but the ones who choose the challenge that changes them the most?
"We're really good at looking like we've got it all together," says Lane. "But underneath all that glitters and shines, a lot of women are exhausted, overwhelmed, and quietly cracking under the pressure. I wrote this book to give women a different way forward - one that doesn't require them to become harder, tougher, or develop grit just to keep up."
