1. Tell us about your journey since graduation.
I began my journey in real estate at 17 years old while still in
high school and continued throughout college, earning my real estate
license while majoring in Business Economics with an emphasis in real
estate. Today, I work in commercial brokerage at Vision Real Estate
Investment, where I focus on bringing strong businesses and
development opportunities to the market. I’m grateful to spend my time
contributing to the continued growth of the Grand Rapids economy and
staying actively involved in the community.
2. Share a favorite Grand Valley memory.
I always loved family weekend. My siblings and I all moved about
two hours away from our home town to attend Grand Valley, so when my
parents would come visit to tailgate and attend the football games, it
was always really special.
3. What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?
Start with the end in mind. Begin every conversation, challenge,
or task with a clear vision of the desired outcome. When you
understand the end goal, it becomes much easier to build the right
path to get there.
4. List three words you would use to describe your Grand
Valley experience.
Foundational. Transformative. Purposeful.
5. What difference would you like to make in the world?
I want to be part of something bigger than myself. I hope to
contribute to meaningful growth, in businesses, in my community, and
in the people around me, and to look back knowing I played a role in
building something lasting and impactful.
