Grand Valley's math program provides students with the knowledge necessary to succeed in various careers and offers rich explorations of theory, fascinating applications of real-world problems, and transferable skills in communication, technology, and creative problem-solving.
You will engage in mathematical modeling, programming, calculus, and differential equations while honing your mathematical reasoning and communication skills. The program includes probability and statistics, discrete mathematics, and linear algebra. You will also participate in research and project-based applied mathematics while exploring advanced topics like abstract algebra and analysis.
You will develop sought-after skills through hands-on experience in critical thinking, mathematical modeling, and coding. The program offers research, study abroad, and internship opportunities for credit.
