Lower Grand River Watershed Implementation Project
The LGRW implementation project began in January of 2005. The main goal of this project was to sample for E. coli at various monitoring locations in three subwatersheds (Buck Creek, Plaster Creek, and the Coldwater River). Sampling results will allow project partners to decide on locations for Best Management Practices (BMPs) to be installed in the summer of 2007 and the Spring of 2008. Updates to the Plaster Creek Watershed and Coldwater River Watershed Management Plans were also completed.
In April of 2007 a meeting was held to announce the results of the E. coli sampling.
Click Here for the PowerPoint presentation of the results (15mb).
