Jewelry and Metals Professor discusses her new book on casting with the Lanthorn

After three years working with co-author Jen Townsend, Professor of Jewelry and Metalsmithing Renee Zettle-Sterling sat down with the Lanthorn to talk about this exciting project. The Book titled "CAST: Art and Objects Made Using Humanity’s Most Transformational Process" contains more than 800 images and a variety of essays that celebrate the artistic process. Released back in June, the 448-page tome can now be purchased in major book retailers, online, and museum stores.

You can read the full article on the Lanthorn website, available here. And don't miss two opportunities to meet the authors and connect with them. The duo will present their work at the Sculpture Objects Functional Art and Design Expo in Chicago Friday, Nov. 3, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with a book signing afterward. Later in November, there will also be a book signing at the Grand Rapids Art Museum (GRAM).
