About
Lynn Tuori brings three decades of corporate marketing and communications experience directly into the GVSU classroom. After a successful career leading marketing and strategy within the consumer goods and sports industries, Lynn made the leap into higher education to share the “Monday morning realities" of the business world with the next generation of professionals. For the past eight years, she has served as an adjunct instructor at both Grand Valley State University and Lake Michigan College, teaching courses in Communications and Business.
Lynn's teaching style is defined by a hands-on, experiential approach. In her courses, students don't just study theory - they tackle real-world projects for local businesses, bridging the gap between the textbook and the workplace. Whether she's teaching in a physical classroom or through a remote screen, Lynn prioritizes building genuine relationships with her students to help them find their own professional voices.
When she isn't mentoring students or crafting communication strategies, Lynn enjoys trips to the lakeshore, cooking up delicious dishes and following her favorite sports teams.
