Len O'Kelly has spent over 30 years on the air in radio, primarily in the Chicago metropolitan area. He has served as a news director and has programmed radio stations in locations as close as Grand Rapids, MI, and as far away as Gisborne, New Zealand. He continues to work in broadcast news and perform voiceover work for television, radio, and film, as well as industrial and training narration. His research concentrates on post-WW2 radio and television.
O'Kelly also serves as the faculty advisor for Grand Valley's student-run radio station WCKS "The Whale." He is also the internship coordinator for the Multimedia Journalism major and serves as the Associate Director for the School of Communications.
