Biometrics Research: Learning Opportunity For Advertising and Public Relations Students

The Biometrics lab provides an excellent opportunity for Advertising and Public Relations (ADPR) students to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge research methodologies. However, mastering biometrics research requires a significant investment of time and resources. To address this challenge, the team is developing a research-based learning module specifically designed for ADPR faculty members to integrate into their curriculum. This module will empower students to navigate the intricacies of biometrics research effectively. Professor Robin Spring is leading the project.

Instagram

How does Instagram capture your attention?

A team of researchers, led by Dr. Imran Mazid, Professor Robin Spring, and Dr. Faye Yang, is investigating the factors influencing user attention on Instagram. The project aims to systematically examine how the social presence and storytelling strategies employed in Instagram messages can effectively capture public attention.
