Colleagues, Students, Alumni, and Friends:

On behalf of our many wonderful faculty and staff, it’s my pleasure to welcome you to the School of Communications. Our mission is to integrate liberal and professional education in order to educate students to possess essential communication skills and to be critical, self-reflective communication professionals and contributing members of society. With over 1000 majors and more than 60 full- and part-time faculty, we are one of the largest academic units at GVSU, offering undergraduate programs in Communication Studies, Health Communication, Advertising and Public Relations, and Multimedia Journalism. We also offer an M.S. in Communication—a versatile program that addresses various aspects of professional communication.

If you have any questions or would like more information about any of our programs, please feel free to contact me or the School of Communications office staff at (616) 331-3668. We’re happy to help!
