Little Louies Day Camp 2026
New in 2026, Recreation & Wellness is offering Little Louies Day Camp! The camp is designed for children 6-12 years of age. Each session is facilitated by highly motivated and energetic counselors and staff.
Campers can expect a wide variety of activities, crafts, and games, that will keep them engaged and active with campers in their age group. Utilizing several GVSU athletic and recreation facilities all Lakers enjoy, we strive to offer something that every camper can enjoy.
Registration and waitlist will be on a first-come, first-served basis. You may register your camper for as many sessions as you would like. The deadline for each session is 2 weeks prior to the session start.

Session Dates
- Session 1: June 8-12
- Session 2: June 15-19
- Session 3: June 22-26
- Session 4: July 6-10
- Session 5: July 13-17
- Session 6: July 20-24
- Session 7: July 27-31
- Session 8: August 3-7
- Session 9: August 10-14
Cost
$260 per camper, per session.
The Parent Packet will be published on the webpage and emailed to all registrants.
Pick-up and Drop-off
Camp will run from 9am-4pm. Campers will be picked up and dropped off at the GVSU Fieldhouse Circle Drive, located off of lot C1.
Campers can be dropped off starting at 8:30am and picked up by 4:30pm.

- Backpack or bag that your camper can easily carry around all day – Please be sure your camper’s name is clearly written on this and all other objects in this list!
- Lunch for you camper. There will not be refrigeration available.
- Refillable water bottle WITH YOUR CAMPER’S NAME WRITTEN ON IT.
- Preferred sunscreen type/SPF level. We will be outside a lot, and campers should not share sunscreen.
- Shoes that allow your camper to be active and move around (closed toed shoes are preferred).
- Swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes.
- Hat, sunglasses or other accessories that may make your camper more comfortable outside.
- Electronics or other communication devices
- Campers should keep all personal electronics in their bags, and should not use them during camp hours.
- Campers will be asked to put them away if they are seen using them. A second warning may result in confiscation of the device.
- Toys or other personal belongings
- Restricted items include, but are not limited to: stuffed animals, playing cards/card games, electronics, action figures or dolls (campers may bring books).
- Items could be lost, stolen, or broken, and often exclude campers who do not possess a similar item.
