This workshop, presented by Jayne Fraley-Burgett from Student Accessibility Resources (SAR), equips faculty mentors and internship coordinators with practical strategies to support students who need accommodations in experiential education settings. Participants will learn how to navigate student requests, implement inclusive practices, and create accessible learning environments across undergraduate research, internships, field trips, and field studies. Through discussion of real-world scenarios and guidance from SAR, attendees will gain confidence in ensuring all students can fully participate in hands-on learning experiences while meeting academic and professional expectations.
