Curious about getting started in research? Our workshops are designed to help you explore the world of undergraduate research and creative scholarship. In these interactive sessions, you’ll learn what research at GVSU looks like (and what it doesn’t), what to expect from different types of research experiences, and how to connect with a program or faculty mentor that’s right for you. Each session is open to all students and includes time for questions.
In addition to our Getting Involved with Undergraduate Research workshops, OURS also offers sessions for students who have already completed research and are preparing for their next steps—whether that’s presenting at conferences, applying to graduate school, or exploring career pathways.
