About
Professor Jason Yancey joined the Spanish faculty at GVSU in 2009, where he specializes in puppetry and early modern theatre. Since becoming the MLL unit head in 2025, Professor Yancey aims to promote innovative teaching that magnifies the reward of learning languages and cultures, with meaningful benefits to our students, communities, and world.
