The Kutsche Office of Local History supports local history and cultural heritage institutions, organizations, and practitioners in West Michigan through expertise, networking, and collaborative projects.

We invite you to be a part of this important work by becoming or maintaining your status as a Friend of the Kutsche Office as a Donor, Supporter, or Patron.

 

Gifts of $50 or more will be recognized at the following levels:

  • Donor: $50 - $99: As a Donor, you will receive free admission to the annual Local History Roundtable, Lunch with the Kutsche Office, and featured lectures as well as, copies of the thrice-yearly Kutsche Chronicle.
  • Supporter: $100 - $249: As a Supporter, in addition to the benefits you receive as a Donor, you will have the opportunity to attend a briefing after the annual Local History Roundtable where you will be able to learn more about the upcoming year’s programming.
  • Patron: $250 or more: As a Patron, in addition to the benefits you receive as a Supporter, you will have the opportunity to attend a special reception featuring this year’s roundtable keynote speaker and Olson prize winner.

 

Your gift will allow the university to continue providing students, staff, faculty, and our community with the resources they need to lead in the preservation of local history.

 

From 2013-2020, the Kutsche Office of Local History has provided 5 faculty research grants, 2 Community Research grants, employed 25 GVSU students, and shown 10 exhibitions.
