Description

The Front Desk Night Auditor is responsible for providing excellent guest service during overnight hours while completing nightly accounting and reporting tasks. This role ensures smooth hotel operations, accurate financial records, and a safe, welcoming environment for guests throughout the night.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and overnight requests.

• Provide friendly and professional customer service in alignment with Hilton brand standards.

• Answer phones, process reservations, and respond to guest inquiries or concerns.

• Complete nightly audit procedures, including balancing daily transactions and preparing financial reports.

• Reconcile room revenue, cash, credit card, and other accounts.

• Ensure accurate posting of room charges and adjustments.

• Monitor hotel security and maintain a safe environment overnight.

• Handle guest issues or emergencies calmly and efficiently.

• Prepare reports for management and ensure proper system rollovers.

• Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area.

• Communicate important overnight activity to morning staff.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk or customer service experience preferred.

• Basic accounting or cash-handling experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable using hotel property management systems and basic computer software.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

• Ability to remain professional and alert during overnight shifts.
