Description

We are seeking to fill a part time hybrid position that would involve some sales duties, and some service agent shifts at the hotels service desk. If you are looking to gain experience with Hiton Hotels, an industry leader, this might be the opportunity for you. The hours are flexible and can be tailored around class schedules as needed. Training will be provided at the hotels service desk first followed by hands on sales training in the following areas:

Sales assistant duties:

Working with Hilton's various sales platforms
Working on Hilton's brand sales initiatives
Assisting with corporate and group sales leads
Assisting with sales contracts and proposals

Duties at the Service Desk:

Greet guests with a friendly, energetic attitude and provide a warm welcome upon arrival
Manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism, answering inquiries promptly and courteously
Check guests in and out efficiently while ensuring all reservation details are accurate and complete
Handle guest requests, complaints, and special needs with patience and proactive solutions
Maintain accurate records of guest information, reservations, and billing details
Assist with night audit procedures to reconcile daily financial transactions and ensure smooth overnight operations
Promote hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance guest experience
Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest needs promptly

Qualifications

Organized with a strong attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills with a positive, energetic approach
Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
Knowledge of guest relations strategies to foster loyalty and satisfaction
Ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully while maintaining professionalism
Prior hotel experience is highly desirable; however, we are willing to train people with the right attitude, personality, and experience in a customer service setting
