Job Summary

Provide technical and financial clerical support for parking.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain parking budget reports. Make recommendations based upon trends and observations.
  • Maintain contract records; alert management to supply, contract end dates or various other situations that may cause contractual concerns.
  • Maintain parking databases.
  • Provide accounting support through the creation of REQ’s, PO’s and invoices using Native Banner and OnBase System. Process payments.
  • Reconcile EPrint reports to budget, maintain spreadsheet of monthly expenditures.
  • Maintain vendor filing system with agreements, invoices, PO’s etc.
  • Provide financial support through authorize.net, daily/weekly banking. Process pay station and park mobile payments. Process payments from drop box, customer service counter etc.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve computer software issues on all parking equipment or websites; make recommendations as needed.
  • Provide train the trainer on computer software and other technology used by parking staff.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on parking data.
  • Create, maintain and disseminate annual parking survey report. Coordinate with Parking Operations Coordinator on data collection for the annual survey report.
  • Update and maintain parking services website, content management software expert for parking, recommend changes to Website design and assist with implementation.
  • Issue and invoice department requested permits (ie: DSS).
  • Order all permit and ticket writing supplies.
  • Conduct permit audits, notify supervisor with concerns.
  • Conduct FLEX audits, notify supervisor of concerns.
  • Create and disseminate various parking reports: parking fine reports, LEIN reports and any other reports as directed by supervisor. Process as directed
  • Create LEIN reports specific to parking, report findings to supervisor and process as directed.
  • Coordinate and maintain the Lost and Found program.
  • Resolve HR requests for F/S customers with student status.
  • Create various reports as requested or self-generated as needed.
  • Provide support and assist with permit rush, start up and move-in.
  • Work with Human Resources on shared drive to issue parking permits.
  • Provide support as requested and/or directed by supervisor or their designee.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant work experience.
  • Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills.
  • Experience with various computer software applications such as Microsoft Office and/or equivalent.
  • Data entry experience.
  • Typing and spelling competency with grammar and proofreading skills.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully provide quality customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully work independently, organize own work and coordinate work activities of others.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully coordinate large projects.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully handle multiple demands efficiently.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully organize and prioritize workload.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully navigate challenging situations in the workplace, while using good judgement.
  • Demonstrated experience to successfully work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Supervision Received

Receives minimal supervision from a designated supervisor. Much of the work is self-initiated.  Person is expected to function with considerable independence and apply appropriate policies and procedures within the assigned area of responsibility.

Supervision Exercised

Hire, train, schedule and coordinate the work of student employees and may act as lead worker to PSS staff members within the department/unit/division.
