Raymond Callahan, Jr., Social Studies '14
I loved my time at GVSU. As a CC transfer, the process was very
welcoming and I found lots of great experiences at GVSU. Dr. Louis
Moore is a gem for the university, and I'm lucky enough to still be in
contact with him eight years later. I teach 8th grade U.S. History at
Allendale Middle School now, so it's been nice to be able to stay
close to home.
Teaching has always been an incredibly difficult profession, but
I know I wouldn't have been able to be successful doing this had I
gone anywhere else. GVSU's program is rigorous, and they made sure I
was ready.
I take great pride in being a Laker.
