Dan earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Calvin University and an M.B.A. from the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University. In his role as CEO and principal of Trillium Investments, a real estate investment firm, he leads the company’s strategic direction, asset acquisitions, investment management, and the cultivation of both strategic and investor partnerships.

Prior to founding Trillium, Dan worked as a project manager at a civil and architectural engineering firm, managing projects that spanned environmental assessments, infrastructure design, site development, and construction management.

Dan is actively engaged in the community, including serving on the boards of the Economic Club of Grand Rapids, the Michigan Strategic Fund, the West Michigan Policy Forum, and the Greater Grand Rapids Chamber Foundation. Dan is also a member of theYoung Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
