Abigail Austin ('26) receives the Rotary Global Scholarship
Abigail Austin is a 2026 GVSU graduate who earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Philosophy. A Gilman and McNair Scholar, as well as a Cook Leadership Academy Lead Fellow, she focused her studies at GVSU on questions of moral development, universal ethics, conflict navigation, and technology’s impact on development. This summer, she was honored to receive the Grand Rapids Rotary Global Scholarship to cover tuition costs and will begin pursuing a Master’s in Conflict Transformation and Social Justice at Queen's University Belfast in Fall 2026. She was able to study abroad there with GVSU Summer 2025 and is truly grateful to be able to return.
