Biography

Professor Turnbough's career began at GVSU as an IT Student Assistant/Desktop Support technician, where he gained hands-on experience assisting faculty, staff, and students with daily technology needs. Over the course of nine years, he advanced through progressively responsible roles, developing in IT Networking, Data Center Operations, Wireless and Wired Infrastructure, and Security.

Today, Turnbough serves as the Manager of IT Operations and Security at Cooley Law School, where he leads a team that oversees enterprise systems and strengthens information security projects that support both the academic and administrative functions of the law school.

Turnbough holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems Management. He is also pursuing a PhD in Global Leadership at Indiana Tech, with research interests focused on leadership, organizational change, generational leadership, and succession planning.
