Cybersecurity students Audry Douglas and Sophi Ernst, accompanied by Dr. Samah Mansour, recently attended the annual Michigan Cyber Summit on October 16. This summit provided them with invaluable opportunities to network with industry professionals and gain insights into the current and future landscape of cybersecurity. Throughout the event, they participated in sessions led by some of the field’s top experts, exploring cutting-edge advancements in cybersecurity technology, innovative strategies for defending against cyber threats, and recent policy changes affecting cybersecurity practice.

The summit also emphasized practical skills and the importance of a forward-thinking approach, as speakers addressed emerging trends such as artificial intelligence, machine learning in threat detection, and the growing impact of global cybersecurity regulations.
