Biography
Dr. Rebecca M. Jonas is an Assistant Professor in the College of Computing at Grand Valley State University. Her research is concerned with digital equity, literacy, and access, often in the context of rural environments of technology (non)use. Her work is grounded in HCI and STS and employs qualitative methods to theorize and design more equitable digital futures. Dr. Jonas has been awarded funding and honors such as the Google.
