GVSU College of Computing

Academic scholarships will be awarded to all majors in the College of Computing to honor those students for their outstanding performance and to encourage them to continue in the field of computing at his/her level of excellence.

Please write a 1 to 2 page essay discussing the following:

• your involvement with the Computing community at GVSU (beyond simply attending classes), and
• what you see as your most significant achievement while at GVSU? (This need not be an academic achievement.)

Examples of community involvement include (but are not limited to): 

• research and other extracurricular scholarly activity, 
• helping classmates through tutoring and/or work in the Computing Student Success Center, 
• service through a computing student organization or other similar activities.
